Now that's a circular argument for practice makes perfect! As a potter, I often have to remind myself that mistakes are an opportunity to learn. It is really true that mistakes do lead to new ideas, improvement, and (one hopes) better judgement the next time.
Things I love... puns, naps, sleeping when it's raining, my new grandson, my ex-husband, the sound of a train, my new apartment, air conditioning, words, lifetime tv, reading, the internet, dogs, Etsy, salty foods, spicy foods, crunchy food, ok...FOOD! ......................... .. Things I don't love ... drivers who drive the speed limit in the left lane on the highway, drivers who don't use turn signals ... ok, bad drivers period. Pears, mean people, scary movies, pessimists, racists, male chauvinists, slapstick comedy, beets, shopping.
